Group Details


Community-Based Groups

Purpose: To build relationships, foster connection, and create a sense of belonging among members.
Focus: These groups center around shared interests, life stages, or activities (e.g., fitness, hobbies, parenting, or general fellowship). The goal is to create an environment where people can form meaningful connections and support one another in life.
Structure: Typically more casual, with flexible formats that prioritize conversation, shared experiences, and fun.
Examples:
• A hiking group
• A young adults’ social group
• A family game night group

Discipleship-Based Groups

Purpose: To intentionally grow in faith, spiritual maturity, and understanding of God’s Word.
Focus: These groups emphasize spiritual development through Bible study, prayer, accountability, and discussions about faith. The goal is to help participants deepen their relationship with Christ and equip them to disciple others.
Structure: Often more structured, with guided materials, designated study topics, or specific spiritual practices.
Examples:
• A Bible study on a specific book or theme
• A group focused on learning how to pray
• A men’s or women’s accountability group
